Congress gets to taste its own medicine; Modi launches 'Manmohan Maun Yojana'

After humiliating defeats in the 2014 General Elections and also in the recently concluded Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Congress finally have something to 'cheer' about. After relabeling most of the national public welfare schemes named after Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, Modi is looking forward to launch a new scheme after one of Congress's most 'revered' leader and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
"Manmohan Maun Yojana", an elated Modi quipped soon after news poured in of BJP's majority in both the Assembly elections. Addressing a press conference though he is mostly seen in rallies campaigning for the BJP if not on a foreign trip or inspection of disaster struck areas, Modi explained what and how he plans to unfold a new scheme aimed at bringing in the 'necessary' political reforms in the current scenario.
He explained," There is an ever growing support in favor of the BJP and there is no denying this fact as can be seen by the mandate of the people. Main aap sabka Pradhan sevak hun and India's development is the topmost priority, and hence in accordance with the public aspirations I plan to launch a new scheme by the name Manmohan Maun Yojana." The press look startled but what followed completely established what a great leader Modi is. He continued," Under this scheme, the government will 'reward' parties who remain 'silent' and not question the motives, agenda, execution or anything done by the BJP. This will save us the time spent on explaining why what we are doing is in best interest of the country because obviously, we will do it anyway."
A reporter luckily had the opportunity to seek the opinion of Amit Shah who was headed towards his chopper and he replied," This is an excellent move by Narendra bhai. Time is money and by saving time spent of petty debates on whether or not we are right with a known outcome is a huge disgrace to the tax payer's money. Be assured, our development is synonymous with India's development." On being further questioned he said," I have seen a number of articles and visuals on blogs and sites and I believe that even sites should be included under this scheme. Showing the flip side of coin or the genesis of public opinion is a barrier to India's development."
Though there certainly is going to be a heated debate on the bill in the Lok Sabha but if this bill sees the light of day as a law Lok Sabha certainly will be a peaceful place where laws will be passed swiftly without let, garrulous talks, public display of currency, handling of microphones. The move certainly aims at preserving the sanctity of the Indian Parliament.
