India : Where Hypocrisy Rules

Before I begin with anything else, contrary to what you might have judged when you read the title, this post not only talks about the hypocrisy of Indian politicians but am also critical of a major segment of people who manifest the same sense of hypocrisy.

The PM oath ceremony is going to be held in less than 2 days from now. This time a whole lot of leaders from neighboring countries have been invited and many have confirmed their esteemed presence. The eyes of the world will be on India when the world's largest democracy's most popular leader swears in as the PM. Then as the cameras pan out on to the various distinguished guests, at one point a certain Mr. Salman Khan waives at the camera. Wait a minute! Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, isn't he the guy accused in the Hit and Run case, poaching of a Black Buck, remarks on 26/11 stating that Pakistan must not be blamed for the attack instead Indian Forces failed to act swiftly.

What message does the common man watching this on T.V. infers from it. The message is loud and clear - "Money power is above the law, ethics, and principles." A fundamental question that arises is what is the credibility of tall promises made by Narendra Modi that under his leadership even the poorest of the poor will get justice when under his nose people with massive corruption charges like Yeddyurappa, Gadkari and numerous others are in race for being a Cabinet Minister. But we should not raise our voice on such issues as if we do, we alienate ourselves from the mainstream people and land up in Tihar jail.

In recent times Kejriwal- The lone crusader of the IAC since Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi, Gen. V.K. Singh all have joined hands with parties they criticized at one point of time and have started criticizing Kejriwal. But it's not these hypocrites who are ever criticized or subjected to dirty gimmicks by the media. Court has sent Kejriwal to Tihar jail on account of not paying the bail amount but there is no question on why has there been zilch progress in complaint against Gadkari. And people blindly read there newspapers in the morning with headline - "Street Drama of Kejriwal begins".

Had Kejriwal wanted to win a LS seat he could have easily chosen some safe constituency but he chose Varanasi after Modi declared he would contest from there. Infact after Kejriwal announced that he will contest from Varanasi against Modi, the latter also filled nomination for a Gujrat seat too knowing well he will have to step down if he won from both and do injustice with people but he could not leave his becoming MP in peril.

The best part, people all over India criticize Kejriwal as if they know him inside out. Kejriwal due to strong projection by media as an anarchist fool has become the target of ire of every individual and personally I congratulate BJP,Congress and all other parties on their strategy to defame Kejriwal in which they have been highly successful.

IT TOOK 90 MORE YEARS TO GAIN INDEPENDENCE AFTER REVOLT OF 1857, IF PEOPLE LOOSE FAITH IN 'AAP' IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 100 YEARS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN.

So, I urge all citizens of India to atleast do some research before forming your opinion and not follow media projection blindly.

Kejriwal: Modi a tangent, Advani an asymptote, and Rahul a parallel line to the PM chair

Arvind Kejriwal, on the eve of counting day, put on a brave face and took jibes at the figures widely thought to have been in the running for the Prime Minister’s position. Kejriwal said Narendra Modi is like a tangent to the PM’s chair, who might be able to meet the chair, but only once and never again.
“AAP will be like a sine curve”
“In comparison,” he said, “if AAP comes to power, it will be like a sinusoidal curve intersecting the PM chair curve again and again till infinity.”
“Advani an asymptote, Rahul a parallel line”
Modi-vs-Kejriwal
“Modi is just a tangent to the PM’s chair; he will only touch it once if at all”
Kejriwal termed Bhartiya Janta Party’s ‘Patriarch’ L.K Advani’s Prime Ministerial ambition analogous to an asymptote saying that he will only keep on getting closer to the chair but will never be able to actually sit on it. Kejriwal also attacked the Congress Vice-President, Mr. Rahul Gandhi comparing his ambition of the PM’s chair to a parallel line justifying by adding that he can never ever even get close to the chair. “I was going to say ‘skew lines’ but it might have been too complex for some people”, he quipped, laughing loudly at his own joke.
Advani: Ab ki baar Modi sarkar
While L.K. Advani was critical of Kejriwal’s remarks at first, after due ‘respect’ was bestowed upon him by senior leaders, he welcomed the statement. “Ab ki baar Modi Sarkar (sigh)”. Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, gave a befitting answer to Kejriwal saying he has always been weak in Sanskrit. It was followed by a roaring applause from the Congress intellectuals.
Mayawati tears into Kejriwal
Behen Kunwari Mayawati feeling left out, launched an attack on Kejriwal, claiming that he is trying to humiliate the downtrodden and ‘Pichda Varg’ by citing such examples of high intellect and reassured the Dalits that she would complain to the EC to stop such malpractices.
In other news, the world’s largest democracy’s most entertaining general elections will conclude on 16th May and the News agencies have started scrounging into Salman Khan’s marriage debate again and contacting Nirmal Baba as these important issues have been left far behind owing to the elections.
